The theme for week three of this year’s photo challenge was ‘weather’.
To be honest, they could not have picked a worse topic for the week or a worse week for that topic.
I had hoped for snow, wind, heavy rain, deep frost … anything which might make for an interesting image. Instead, the weather has been ‘grey’ all week and that is possibly the worst possible weather for creating an interesting image.
The best of a bad bunch is probably the image above. I was trying to capture some interesting cloud layers and this image of a dim sun was the best I could manage. Yes, I admit, it is heavily toned with presets to create the effect but I hope you will forgive me.
